Giancarlo is Future Energy Ventures' Investment Principal with 16 year's experience in ventures investments and commercial partnerships in the energy transition space. He worked in Shell Ventures, Honeywell Ventures investing in Energy SaaS software platforms, Biofuels, Hydrogen and Energy Storage. Giancarlo worked and lived in USA, The Netherlands, Norway and Qatar. He'is a board member/observer for 5 Portfolio Companies: Cryptowerk,'Moj.io, Raiven, Sight Machine, and SolShare.'Giancarlo started his career in GE Energy focussing on R&D, and Corporate Development to accelerate energy transition. He founded a start-up active in climate-tech still operating in climate-tech sector. He studied Engineering at Bologna University and University of Oxford (MEng). He also holds an MBA from IMD Business school.
