Sarasota’s Ringling Bridge lights transform for Satisfaction Thirty day period

SARASOTA — A gesture of hope and acceptance for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people was established to be shown in lights stretching across Sarasota Bay on Tuesday evening.

FDOT creating alterations to bridge lights policy

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Section of Transportation is building variations to its procedures pertaining to ornamental bridge lights.

Previously this month, FDOT ordered the rainbow lights recognizing Satisfaction Thirty day period shut off on the Acosta Bridge in Jacksonville right after officials obtained grievances and they considered the lights did not meet code. FDOT reversed its conclusion the next day.
